How to ask WMA Associates to delete your account, or only some of your data, in the WMA app (Google Play: “WMA Suite”, developer WMA Associates) and the WMA dashboard at wmasuite.tech.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email to wmaassociates9@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account” — or “Delete my data” if you only want some data removed. Please include:
- your full name;
- the email address or username you sign in with;
- the name of the business you use WMA with (or its business code, shown when you sign in);
- whether you want the whole account deleted, or only specific data (tell us which — for example your phone number or your messages).
If you can, send it from the email address of your account. If we cannot confirm that the request comes from you, we will ask you or your business to confirm it before deleting anything.
We reply within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days.
If you work at a business that uses WMA
You can also ask the owner or manager of your business. They can close your login straight away (“Left the business”) and ask us to delete your data.
If you own the business account
To close the whole business account and delete its data, email us from the owner’s email address. We will confirm what will be deleted and when.
2. What we delete
- your login: email or username and password;
- your name, contact details and profile;
- your clock-in badge and the devices registered for notifications;
- messages you wrote in the app;
- any other personal data you ask us to remove, where the law allows.
3. What we keep, and for how long
- Records a business must keep by law — such as receipts, invoices, payroll, payslips and working-time records — are kept for as long as the law requires (in Cyprus, usually 6 years for accounting and tax records), and then deleted. Where possible, your name is removed from them.
- Copies in our encrypted backups are deleted automatically as the backups expire, within 60 days.
- A short note that the deletion request was received and completed, so we can show it was handled.
When you use WMA through a business (for example as its employee or customer), that business decides about its own records of you. We delete them on its instruction, or tell you if the business must keep them.
